We have another Ringmaster for this years Ringmaster Fly-a-thon. Warren read about our attempt last year in the Victorian Model News newslettter and wants to join in the fun this year.

Hi John, Ringmaster is finally finished and ready to have a go I hope, I built the model out of scrap I had lying around so it was cost affective but maybe a little overweight at 21 ounces.
I have a 20yrold Enya 15 in it that has never run as I bought the motor but cant remember what for and only found it when cleaning up still in its box so it will have to do although It seemed a little hot when I ran it today so maybe it might need a little more oil.
Now all we have to do is stop getting giddy and all will be well ????

Heres Owen's Miss BJ 75%, all finished. I like the paint job although Owen said he had trouble with %&*#@! masking tape.

Arthur Hume sent in these photos of his nearly finished profile Skinny Streak.
It used to be a Thunder Streak in an earlier life......

The reason why Bob's Nobler died the other day (scroll down two posts for the original posting).
Never did trust those nylon horns.

Looks like everyone is playing around with full size aircraft lately. Bob McKenzie and Allan Beggs of Townsville went for a scenic flight over Townsville in the Red Baron yesterday. The plane is a Grumman Ag Cat and is the actual aircraft used in The Phantom movie starring Billy Zane

Mmmm....... The background looks to be on a bit of a funny angle.
From the grins on the faces ,  Alan (left) and Bob seemed to enjoy the chandelles.

NEWS FLASH.................................................... Nobler Pranged...  Felt a big click in lines (Upside down at the time). I entered the Earth hard..
It seems elevator disconnected and Flaps took over. Just cracked the fuse a bit, easy fixed, just need a new bit between the spinner and the rudder....

Here's something a little different from Jim Greenwood in Townsville. It's a highly modified Thunderbird.
The original cowl and cockpit have been modified and the paint job is copied from RAAF 10 Squadron's Mustang which was used to tow target drones in Townsville. I think the original Mustang is now in a museum in southern Queensland somewhere.

Electric powered Thunderbird.

The Mustang style intake scoop under the fuselage was added to house the LiPo battery.
Cooling slots under the nose for the motor and speed control.
